Okasewa means “the place of healthy water” in Herero.
Set along the river banks, the ranch has spanned 4 generations in Namibia.
Among the Gumtrees
The shaded homestead of the ranch can be seen from far across the flat plains amidst a forest of old blue gum trees.
A Cattle Ranch
A cattle ranch since 1965, de-bushing and the establishment of Blue Buffalo Grass began in 1980 and continues through today.
An Ongoing Legacy
Uland and Kristina Pack, the 4th generation, took over the Brahman Stud in 2012. Uland’s childhood dreams for Pintos took off and today the stud boasts 20 registered coloured horses. Kristina turned her vision for local and healthy food into the flourishing organic garden she has today.
